- 1 kg chicken pieces
- 1/2 kg curd
- 2 tablespoons chilli powder
- 1 tablespoon jeera powder
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tablespoon red food colour
- 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
- 3-4 fried onion
- 2 potatoes cut in 4 pieces
- 1 Maggie chicken cubs
- For Rice preparation-
- 1 kg rice washed and drain
- 1 tablespoon jeera
- 3-4 cloves
- 3-4 black pepper
- 2 bay leaf
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon oil
- For Decoration-
- 1/4 cup cashew
- 1/4 cup badam/ almonds
- 1/4 cup raisins
Instructions to make to make Chicken biryani
- Take the big size cooking bowl and heat the 4 tablespoon oil then add 2 bay leaves, 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste,2 cloves,3 black pepper,1 chopped onion,2 chopped tomatoes cook this for 10 minutes
- After 10 minutes add marinated chicken and mix well cook for 20 minutes add 2 tablespoon sugar,1 tablespoon garam masala, 1 tablespoon jeera powder salt as per taste if required, once the chicken is cooked take one small bowl and put 1 small piece of burning coal and add 1 tablespoon ghee on it and close with a lid for 30 seconds.
- Now your chicken is cooked and smoked add boiled rice over equally, add green and orange colored boiled rice, fried onion, fried cashew, fried badam, 3 to 4 tablespoon milk with saffron and coriander for garnishing give some coal smoke again for 30 seconds and put the lid for 20 minutes turn off the gas and serve hot with raita
